Two Birthday Gift Illustrations

The 100 Year Old Man, (ink, acrylic wash on illustration board, 11X17). This was a great project. The client wanted to give it to the subject on his 100th birthday. The images are of the subject at various times in his life. Apparently, he was still going strong at 100, and went out to dinner every night with his 80 year old son.
50th Birthday, (ink on illustration board, 16X20). This is fairly typical of the type of gift illustration I get commissions for. There are lots of personal items in the picture and even the house he grew up in. For some reason he liked both the Packers AND the Bears. The film spool coming off of the antennae is a reference to a movie the guy was in called "Threshold".
