CDC Retiree

I Have Just One Question... ( 16X20, ink and acrylic on illustration board). This fellow was retiring from an interesting career at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. They had a lot of elements to incorporate in the piece, but I'd rather have that than a lot of "filler space". I don't have space here to elaborate on the meaning of all the "in" jokes, and I was completely in the dark myself while creating the drawing. But when I delivered the final illustration I had to ask about "Nurse 14" and I wasn't disappointed with the answer. Suffice it to say I wouldn't want her taking care of me.
